Slow Factory is a school, knowledge partner and climate innovation lab focused on addressing the intersecting crises of climate justice and social inequity through narrative change and regenerative design. They are opening their first ever brick and mortar Climate School & Lab advancing social justice through regenerative design, open education & material science innovation.
Growing Together
These calendula & marigolds planted in collaboration with Slow Factory on Earth Day 2022, will be part of a natural dye workshop with The Lower East Side Girls Club. Slow Factory’s mission is to restore balance for humans and nature through design, education, and narrative change. They recently had an exhibition in PS1’s Homeroom, where they shared the wisdom, knowledge and experience of natural dyes, up-cycling and other strategies to engage with a more sustainable life.
