Padre Plaza Success Garden

A community garden and gathering space in the Bronx, Padre Plaza is a force of growth, love and possibility. Padre Plaza Success Garden was founded in the 1980s and offers a vibrant site for growing, community gatherings, and a re-entry program for formerly-incarcerated youth and young adults.
Bonsai.
Three Japanese Maple bonsai trees are planted in collaboration with Padre Plaza Success Garden. These Japanese Maple Bonsai were grown by a garden member named Emmanuel, who propagates tree saplings for planting in the garden and beyond. He has paired each tree with a bible passage & a whole lot of tender care.
